I belong to the Facebook group called CRUISING DUCKS. There has been some questions about whether individuals can hide rubber ducks on the Disney line cruises. Could you please clarify this for me, so I could share it with our group? Thank you!

Ahoy, Cheryl! Thanks for cruising by planDisney with your question. On my first Disney Cruise, my kids found a hidden rubber duck so your question has me curious. Let’s quack this case!

Cheryl, I checked and the Disney Cruise Line's official policy is that Guests may bring rubber ducks onboard but may not hide them for others to find. In fact, Guests cannot hide anything, such as rubber ducks, in public areas or staterooms. Rubber ducks and other pool toys also cannot be used in the pool areas. I know this might not be what you hoped to hear, Cheryl, but I assure you there is still lots of fun and magic to have onboard!

Decorating your stateroom door is a great way to show your personality and engage other Guests. I always love admiring the creativity of door decor on my cruises! However, Guests should be mindful and check the official policy for decorating the outside of their door on a Disney Cruise. Causing damage to the door and being assessed a fee is not how anyone wants to spend their vacation money!

I hope this information helps, Cheryl. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I'd be one lucky duck to help!

    Happy sailing,
    Melissa
