Will bell services transfer luggage between the Swan and Dolphin and Animal Kingdom Lodge? Planning a split stay in May!

Hi Katie and welcome to planDisney! It's so exciting to pack your bags for a vacation and I'm happy to help you plan your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth!

I love split stays at Walt Disney World Resort! It's the perfect way to experience more than one of the magical themes that Disney hotels offer! Luggage transfer is available between Disney Resorts Collection Hotels using bell services. Unfortunately, Walt Disney World Swan Hotel and Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel are not included as locations that are eligible for luggage transfer. I have stayed at both of these beautiful resorts and given their great location, I wouldn't let this change your decision. You could arrange for a rideshare to take you and your luggage to your new hotel on the morning of your check-in. For planning purposes, you could visit Disney's Hollywood Studios or EPCOT on your transfer day since both of these theme parks are extremely close by! Bell services at both of these hotels will hold your luggage until you are ready to check in to your room.

I just stayed at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge last month! If you haven't stayed there before, you're going to love it! The beautiful views of the savannas will have you feeling as if you are really in Africa! A fun fact about this resort is that there are over 30 species of African wildlife on the property. You can find a Wildlife Field Guide in your guest room or pick one up at the front desk and take your own safari from one of the observation areas.

Katie, I also wanted to make sure you know about some amazing benefits you can look forward to as a Deluxe Resort Hotel guest! You can enjoy Early Theme Party Entry at the theme parks every morning and you will have even more time to ride attractions with Extended Evening Theme Park Hours at select theme parks on select nights.

As you are planning, be sure to check out the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration happening during your vacation! Please stop by planDisney again if we can answer any additional questions.

    Happy Planning!
