Will bell services hold onto luggage even after you've checked out of the resort? I'm leaving on a Friday, but my plane doesn't leave until 8pm so I wanted to get one last day of magic in the parks.

    Hi Meaghan!
    Welcome back to planDisney.

This is something I can identify with because coming from the UK, virtually all our flights home are overnight, and my most recent flight leaving Orlando didn't depart until 10.30 pm!  Personally, I have too many bags to carry around with me all day, so I'm very grateful for Bell Services.

As soon as you are ready to check out of your room, take all your luggage down to Bell Services and ask them to hold your bags for you until you leave later that day.  Everything will be stored safely and securely for you in a locked facility, so if you have a laptop or other valuables you can leave them with confidence.  Remember to keep all your essentials with you, but you can retrieve anything from your luggage at any time.

We all love to squeeze every moment out of our vacation, and our last day is just as important as our first - so leave your luggage and go and enjoy a magical day at the parks before it's time to leave.

I'm happy to say that the same applies on your arrival day, so if you arrive at your Disney Resort hotel before your room is ready, you can leave your bags with Bell Services, and you can either collect your luggage from Bell Services yourself when you are ready to check-in or call them from your room. You will need to be present in your hotel room when they deliver your luggage.  Whatever time you arrive, however early, it's always worth checking if your room is ready - you never know, it might be ready super early for you.  If you use online check-in, you will be sent a text or email (whichever is your preferred communication) when your room is ready, so you can go off and enjoy your day until it's time to unpack and settle in for your vacation.

It's worth noting that if you are using a Disney dining plan, your meals and snacks are valid until midnight on the day you check out of your Disney Resort hotel - nothing goes to waste if you have a long last day!  Use your Quick-Service and/or Table-Service meals and snacks in the theme parks, and at the hotels and select locations at Disney Springs.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions, and you can send me a direct question if you wish.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
