Hiya Kristina,
Welcome to planDisney! How exciting that you are planning a visit during the Most Magical Time of the Year, the holidays! I am always amazed by how the theme parks transform for the holidays with themed decorations, towering Christmas trees, and incredible
festivals and events. I know the dates haven't been released yet for
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this year, but keep an eye out for that announcement so you can add one of my favorite events to your itinerary.
Since each Resort has its unique spin on holiday decorations, a split stay sounds like the perfect way to experience more! Luggage transfer is ideal for split stays, so I'm glad you're considering it now. While
Bell Services can transfer non-perishable items between resorts, they do not typically transfer perishable items. Not every Resort has a designated storage space that can accommodate perishable groceries, and it can take quite a bit of time between when you drop off your luggage at one Resort in the morning and when it is available for you at the next one. I suggest only getting enough perishable items for each separate stay or planning to keep your perishable items with you in a smaller bag.
Before I let you go, Kristina, don't forget to ask Bell Services what time your luggage needs to be dropped off so that it can be transferred. I missed my window once, and now I always triple-check to avoid making the same mistake. Also, be sure to keep any necessary medication or items with you for the rest of the day, separate from your main bag. There is no way to know when your bags will arrive at your next Resort, so it is better to have anything you will need for the day with you. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
