I believe there is a way that you can plan and prepurchase or do payment plans for a Disney vacation? How do I go about that? We are finally planning a family trip to Disney World with my now adult kids and a couple grandkids.

Hello Antje! You came to the right place! While there isn’t a payment “plan,” there is a way to “pay as you go” after you book a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package!

At your time of booking, you will make a $200 deposit toward your vacation. Then, you can decide how you want to spread out your remaining vacation payments. You can continue making payments through your My Disney Experience account.

When you arrive at your My Disney Experience account, select “My Plans.” Once your vacation information appears on the screen, you should notice your reservation number with a link stating “Make a Payment.” When you select that link you will be able to make a payment toward your vacation. You can choose the amount that you want to pay. You can also choose how often you want to pay.

Your remaining vacation balance is due 30 days before your vacation check-in date! Keep using your online My Disney Experience account to make payments toward your vacation! Have a wonderful visit with your adult children and grandchildren! This sounds like a magical vacation in the making!

    Dreams do come true!
