I have a Believe Key Pass. I want to make reservations for August but there is a chance I will either need to change a date or cancel. If doing so what do I need to know how it will affect my Believe Key Pass. Thank you

Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Denice. We're so glad you stopped by with your question and I'm thrilled to help.

Hooray for being a Magic Key holder! I hope you've been enjoying all of the magical benefits and adding magic to your days with visits to the Disneyland Resort. I love hearing that you're planning a magical visit soon. There is definitely flexibility with Magic Key reservations, so let's break it down.

At this time, Magic Key reservations must be changed or canceled by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on the day before your reservation date. By doing this, you will be in the clear and not subject to the current Magic Key No-Show Policy (subject to change). If you do not cancel or modify your reservation by this time and no-show for your reservation 3 times within a 90-day window, you will be unable to make new park reservations or modify existing park reservations for 30 days.

Canceling or modifying your reservation is as easy as pie. You can do this on the Disneyland site by clicking on "My Plans" which can be found under the heading "My Disneyland" towards the top right of the screen. Find the date of your visit and then click "Manage Reservation." On the next screen, you will see links to "Modify Reservation" or "Cancel Reservation." You can also do this in the Disneyland app by tapping on the "☰" icon to open the menu and then tapping on the "Future Plans" tile. You will tap on the appropriate date and will then be whisked away to the Disneyland site to either cancel or modify your reservation.

Now that you know what your options are (and it doesn't hurt to review the Magic Key terms and conditions too), go ahead and make that theme park reservation, I say! It may even be helpful to set a reminder on your phone for the day before your reservation if you need to make any changes or cancel. I find myself having a lot in common with Dory when it comes to things like this.

I hope this has been helpful, Denice. If any other questions pop into your mind, please come back to ask us. Until then, I hope you enjoy your year of magic at the Happiest Place on Earth!
