I believe it can take up to an hour to get from Hollyood studios to see Hoop de Doo at 7.15pm. I have children 7 and 9 and wondered if the travel was worth it. What time does the show end? is there a quicker way to get there and back to port orleans resort

Lynette, the cornbread alone is worth it.

The easiest way to get to Hoop Dee Doo from Port Orleans is to take a cab to Fort Wilderness. When we did so in February, it cost us $5 and took 5 minutes. That will get you to the parking lot. From the parking lot, take the internal bus to get to Pioneer Hall. For us, that tacked on another 15 minutes.

If you're coming from Hollywood Studios and using Disney transportation, I'd allow a good hour and a half for the commute to Hoop Dee Doo.

The ride home from Hoop Dee Doo to Port Orleans will be much easier. Upon your exit, you'll see a bunch of busses lined up to take people home. A cast member will direct you to the one going to Port Orleans. When we were there in February, our bus was exclusively for Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter. We were home in 15 minutes (with a bunch of singing aboard said bus along the way!)
