I believe I have down the bus routes we need to take to get to the Chip 'n' Dale Campfire Sing-A-Long... but, how late will buses be running in the evening? I want to be sure we'll have no trouble returning to a park or our resort.

Hiya Kathleen, Welcome to planDisney! I'm happy to help you with your transportation question! And how exciting that your trip to Walt Disney World Resort is right around the corner!

One of my favorite perks of vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort and staying on property is taking advantage of the complimentary transportation system! And though I have never been to Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long, I have friends who love camping and say it is a great time! They'll purchase a s’mores kit from the Chuckwagon Snack Bar, get a photo with Chip ‘n Dale then cozy up for a classic Disney movie in a theater under the stars!

Currently, there is no direct Walt Disney World Bus Service between resorts. Rest assured, my family and I have travelled many a times from resort to resort for dining reservations and I, like you, am conscious of the times the busses operate. I find the easiest way to get from resort to resort is taking a bus from my resort to the closest theme park then getting on another bus from the park to the next resort. Walt Disney World Bus Service generally operates from 45 minutes before a theme park’s opening time until one hour after a theme park’s closing time. I would suggest checking the Hours & Events Calendar for Magic Kingdom Park as it is the closest theme park to The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Also keep in mind that theme park hours often vary daily and are different from park to park, so the transportation hours for each individual park will vary on any given day.

Another option to ensure you have no trouble traveling to your resort would be using a ride share service. A favorite of mine, is the Minnie Van Service, Connected by Lyft! Just use your smartphone to request a ride through the Lyft app. Enter your destination, confirm your pickup location, and click on "Select Access. Minnie Van". It's simple, quick and easy!

I hope this information helps you prepare for an exciting visit to Walt Disney World Resort, Kathleen! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. We'll see ya real soon!
