Hiya, Stephanie! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for sharing your question with us!
Your springtime Walt Disney World adventure is just a couple of weeks away. Woo hoo! With a reservation to Cape May Cafe, a water park visit, and mini golf all part of the itinerary, it sounds like you have an awesome vacation in the works. Let’s put the finishing touches on your plan and make sure you get where you need to go!
First things first. You are correct that
Blizzard Beach will be open on April 7th (hours and availability are subject to change). You can find up-to-date hours and schedule information for Blizzard Beach, and all the theme parks, on the
online Hours & Events calendar or the My Disney Experience mobile app’s Park Hours & Info page.
Speaking of the My Disney Experience app, the app can provide step-by-step directions to most locations around Walt Disney World. The best route or available
transportation options may vary by date and time of day, so be sure to consult the app before you head out. At the time I’m writing this, the My Disney Experience app is suggesting you take a bus from Beach Club Resort (home of Cape May Cafe) to Animal Kingdom, and from there you can take a bus to Blizzard Beach. Winter Summerland Miniature Golf is just a short walk from the Blizzard Beach bus stop.
As you can see, since there isn’t direct transportation to Blizzard Beach and Winter Summerland from all Walt Disney World Resort hotels, and using complimentary transportation may require transferring buses at other theme parks or hotels. Your easiest option would be to book a
Minnie Van through the Lyft app, which can take you directly from Cape May Cafe to Winter Summerland.
I hope this info helps with your vacation planning, Stephanie. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have any other questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!
Magical travels!
Matt
