Heya, hiya, Tiffanie! Welcome to planDisney, where the questions are magical and the answers are always sprinkled with pixie dust! October is such a spooktacular time to visit the Disneyland Resort—with
pumpkins on Main Street, U.S.A.,
festive treats around every corner, and the happiest haunts ready to welcome you!
When it comes to your
Magic Key pass, the good news is that once your payment plan is caught up (or fully paid off), your pass should reactivate pretty quickly. In most cases, you’ll see the update in your
Disneyland mobile app within minutes, though it can sometimes take up to 24 hours. If the change isn’t showing right away, try closing and reopening the app. Another handy trick is to log out of your
MyDisney account and then log back in—this often gives the system the nudge it needs.
If you’re still not seeing your pass active after making your payment, I recommend calling the
Magic Key Holder line for assistance. Cast Members there will be glad to take a look and make sure everything is set. While you can also stop by a ticket booth on the day of your visit, I’d recommend calling ahead so you can enjoy a stress-free arrival at the parks.
And since you’ll be visiting during
Halloween Time, Tiffanie, you’re in for a real treat!
Haunted Mansion Holiday is a must-see, transformed with the delightfully spooky touch of Jack Skellington and his friends from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. As you glide through the ballroom, be sure to keep an eye out for the monstrously large, handcrafted gingerbread house on the dining room table—it’s different every year and always a showstopper!
With your Magic Key back in action and your October visit on the horizon, Tiffanie, you’ll be all set for a frightfully delightful time filled with magic, memories, and maybe even a few Mickey-shaped Halloween treats!
See ya real soon!
