Hello Shannon! I find that planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is half the fun of the vacation itself! I enjoy picking my resort hotel, planning which parks I’m going to visit, and considering which Disney Dining experiences to reserve! There is so much to look forward to with your planning! Have fun!
When planning your vacation, the best tool to use is the
Walt Disney World Resort website! It is important to keep in mind that taxes and fees are not included in the prices that you see listed online. However, you will see taxes and fees added to the final cost when you are ready to book the trip. For example, when viewing the hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection (you can find these under the
“Places to Stay” tab on the website), you’ll notice that the prices are listed as “avg night/excl tax.” The listed price is the base price per night, excluding tax. Tax will be added later. The same is true when purchasing theme park tickets. Tax will be added later before you make your final purchase.
Shannon, be sure to
use this link to look at the many amazing special offers that are currently available for the Walt Disney World Resort! These deals could result in some great savings! Also, here is a PRO TIP for you! Special seasonal offers for 2024 haven’t been announced yet, but if you book a vacation for 2024 now, and a new offer becomes available for your time of travel, Guests can usually apply the new offer to their existing reservation! I have used that little trick many times!
Happy Planning!
