Hi, in beginning stages of planning a trip to Disneyland in late 2017. I would like to go when not as busy, not extremely hot out, but at the same time the kids will be able to enjoy an occasional swim in one of the Disneyland hotel pools, any suggestions?

Hello Raquel. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Based on the criteria you've listed, I suggest planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort sometime from late September through October. The crowd level is much lower when school is back in session. You may wish to avoid days when Mickey's Halloween Party nights are scheduled. Those typically bring larger crowds, especially if they occur on Friday or Saturday nights.

I've recently gone in mid-October and the weather was beautiful. It was warm enough to walk around in a t-shirt during the day and take a dip in the pool. At night, it was crisp and cool, perfect weather to grab a piping hot funnel cake from Stage Door Cafe.

I hope this information will help you get started in planning your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth in late 2017. Please do not hesitate to write us back with more questions. We're glad to lend a hand!

    Have a magical day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
