I am in the beginning stages of planning a family vacation to Disney World. It will be myself, my husband and our 3 children ages, 12,11,9. We will be going in 2013, How can I plan this vacation without going over my budget of $7500. Cheap as possible.

Hi Lacy!  Great that you are starting to think about next year's Disney trip now so you can make the best decisions to stay within your budget.

Although you might find cheaper hotel rooms outside the property I find that the best value for your vacation is to stay in one of the Disney resorts. You will be provided with complimentary airport transportation, transportation throughout all parks and locations in Walt Disney World, dining plans, and ability to use the parks during their extra magic hours.

Start with your lodging and check out the Value resorts.  With a family of five you might do best with one of the Family Suites either at the new resort Art of Animation or All Star Music. http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/hotels/?sortBy=nG:hasResortCategoryFacet&fv_78175=on
Prices have not been set for 2013 but you can get an idea of where that will take you with your budget.  You can get a package that will include a dining plan and also tickets. http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/vacation-packages/

Many families like to add the dining plans to their packages since everything is basically paid for up front and you have a better chance at staying in a budget then coming and dining wherever.  These plans can be basic to just eating at quick service locations to elegant or character dining shows.  I usually suggest you see if you can fit the regular plan in which includes one table service meal a day as there are so many great restaurants on property and its fun to sit and relax at least for one meal.

As you start the plan we are here to answer each and every question you might have. This is a great place to start looking at the packages Disney offers!
