I am beginning the planning stages of a vacation for next summer. As I am looking at Sam's club to purchase park tickets, can they be easily connected to my WDW resort reservations? Do you also receive magic bands? Thanks!

Hi there, Jaclyn! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for stopping by and asking your Walt Disney World Resort question!

Hooray for beginning to plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! There’s just something so exciting about beginning the entire planning process and gets me into the vacation mindset!

Utilizing outside vendors, such as Sam’s Club, can be a great way to save money when purchasing tickets to Walt Disney World Resort theme parks! It is also quite easy to connect tickets purchased through outside vendors to your My Disney Experience account!

Simply log into your My Disney Experience on a computer and click “My Reservations”. Once there, you can click the “Link Tickets” button and input your ticket numbers into this page. If you are utilizing the My Disney Experience app and were given a barcode for your tickets, you may also log into the My Disney Experience app and scan this barcode to connect your tickets! Once you've uploaded your tickets, you can then begin planning out which FastPass+ experiences you would like to reserve once they become available!

Also, all Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel will receive complimentary Magic Bands. However, if you are staying off-property but would still like to use a Magic Band while visiting the parks, you can always purchase Magic Bands from the Shop Disney website or app!

Good luck continuing to plan for your 2020 summer vacation!
