We are beginning to plan our vacation in December 2011. There will be four adults and a 8 and 6 year old. I'm needing advice on where to stay so that we can all be together but have plenty of room.

There are lots of options for you right on Disney property, the question, of course, being how much you're looking to spend.  For spacious accommodations, Disney's villas are the way to go.  I recently toured the Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa.  The setting is beautiful and the villas are about as unique as they come.  If a stay there is within your budget, I highly recommend it.  If you're looking to spend a bit less (and sacrifice some space), the cabins at Fort Wilderness sleep six.  Quarters will definitely be more cramped than at one of the villas, but it is a cost-effective option for your group!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
