I am just beginning to plan a trip to WDW in February 2012. We will be traveling with 3 adults and 3 kids (age 6, 4, and 2). We would like to stay a full week if possible. With a budget of $6000-$7000, I am wondering which resorts I should even look at.

Hi Beth!

There are many factors other than hotel and park tickets that will play a major role in your budget....that being said, you've got a pretty healthy budget and could look anywhere from Deluxe Resorts all the way to Value Resorts.

I would take a close look at how much your hotel and park tickets will cost you, as well as factoring in the cost of flights (you didn't mention if you'd be flying or driving).

Personally, I'd start at the Moderate Resort level and go from there. You'll find that there are many options (tickets, dining plan) that can also change the amount you'll spend on your vacation, as well as potential promotions that might be available during your visit.
