We are beginning to plan our first WDW trip for January 2013. My daughter's 7th bday is 12/27 and my son's 5th bday is 2/19- so we are strategically vacationing in between both their birthdays- anything special they may be able to receive or do?

Hi, Brandy!  Birthdays always seem more magical when you celebrate them at Walt Disney World!

When you make your reservations, make sure you note that you are celebrating the birthdays.  The resort will sometimes have birthday buttons so you won't have to make an extra stop at Guest Services at the theme park.  Also, when making your dining reservations, have it noted on those reservations as well.  You never know when a little extra pixie dust will be sprinkled in the shape of a cupcake or other dessert or a card signed by restaurant staff or characters.

If you don't get a birthday button at your resort, snag one at Guest Services at the theme park.  Most children love it when someone acknowledges their birthday, and the buttons will alert Disney cast members and guests alike that someone is celebrating.  The extra wishes you are likely to get should help keep smiles on faces for the whole vacation!

There are also a wide variety of fabulous gifts that you can purchase through the Disney Florist - you'll find them by clicking this link - Disney Florist.  There are gifts suitable for every budget and every Walt Disney World fantasy!

I hope your children have wonderful birthdays!
