Beginning to plan a first visit for grandchildren ages 2&4. We will probably spend most of our time in the magic kingdom and skip the water parks because they are so young. Which resorts (near the magic kingdom) have the best pools for little ones?

    Hello Denise!

You must feel like a wonderful Fairy Godmother planning the first magical trip for your precious grandchildren.  How exciting! When considering proximity and easy access to the Magic Kingdom, the three monorail resorts can't be beat.  While this convenience does come at a premium, the ability to quickly return to your room for a midday nap or after a long day in the park is quite a benefit, especially when traveling with kids of that age.  Each resort offers fun pools and water slides, but I really like the pools and water-play area at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The "Alice in Wonderland" Water Play Area has kid-sized slides, water hoses, and other "splashingly" good fun your grand-kids will adore.  The Disney Parks Blog even included it in their "Top Five Kids' Water Play Area and Pools at the Walt Disney World Resort."

I hope that I have helped answer your questions, Denise, but if there is anything else I can help you with, please don't hesitate to ask. Happy planning and have a wonderful vacation!

    Magical Wishes,
