We'll begin our trip to DW on Saturday afternoon, Dec 17th, for 5 days - no park hoppers passes. Do you have suggestions for us to avoid crowds and long lines? We'll stay close to Epcot, so maybe the first day and another afternoon there. Thanks!

    Hi Gina,

    December 17 - Animal Kingdom
    December 18 - Magic Kingdom
December 19 - Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom
    December 20 - Epcot
    December 21 - Hollywood Studios
December 22- Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom

The best day for the Magic Kingdom is absolutely December 18th. If you want another day at Epcot, any of the other days can be substituted except December 22. As of the 22nd, crowd levels pick up considerably as guests arrive for the holiday.

You will need a full day in Epcot (at least) and without park hoppers, you should really begin touring when you can begin a park in the early morning. If you had park hoppers, you could go to Epcot in the late afternoon or early evening after touring a different park. Animal Kingdom closes the earliest.

It's okay not to park hop but just make sure you are using your tickets wisely and get to your chosen park at opening time! For instance, if you arrive December 17th, I would not go into a park that day.

Let me know if you need further clarification. Happy to help with your magical vacation!
