Hi Kat!
Good for you to be planning so far in advance! You're sure to have the vacation of your family's dreams fully prepared by the time you depart!
Port Orleans French Quarter is an excellent choice and one of my favourite resort recommendations. The quaint atmosphere & small resort size allow you a wonderfully relaxing time with less crowds in the food court and bus stop areas. The boat transportation to Downtown Disney is a fun "plus" as well.
You'll find that 2013 Magic Your Way package pricing will likely be released by late spring/early summer 2012. Keep an eye on the site regularly for announcements and special offers that best suit your family & vacation plans. Order yourself a free,
Disney Parks Vacation Planning DVD online to help in your planning.
You'll be able to start reserving your
Advance Dining Reservations 180 days prior to the first day of your vacation. At that time, if logged in through your resort reservation, you'll be able to book dining for the duration of your stay. A few dining recommendations for your little ones would include Chef Mickey's in Disney's Contemporary Resort near the Magic Kingdom, Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh & Friends inside Magic Kingdom Park and Disney Junior Play 'n Dine at Hollywood Studios.
Some must-see attractions for your pre-schoolers include ALL the classics around Magic Kingdom Park as well as some great fun-for-little-ones attractions over at Disney's Hollywood Studios such as Disney Junior - Live on Stage! and the larger than life playground at the "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" Movie Set Adventure.
I hope you'll visit again if you'd need any further Magical planning tips Kat!
