When can I begin to plan a trip in 2024?

    Princess Ariel! Welcome to planDisney.

It's that time of the year when everyone is asking the same question: "When can I book for next year?" It seems like much of the Disney community is holding their breath waiting until they can book that next magical adventure.

Unfortunately, Ariel, vacation packages for 2024 are yet to be released for Guests based in the U.S. However, I have a hunch that vacation packages (including room-only reservations) for 2024 will be released soon. I am guessing that by late spring 2023, you should be able to make those reservations. Until then, keep visiting the Walt Disney World Resort website and Disney Parks Blog and be on the lookout for any exciting announcements. Once those dates are released, you can go ahead and book that 2024 vacation.

Still, it's never too early to start planning your next trip, Ariel. Here are my top three bits of advice I give to people as they think and dream about an upcoming trip:

here are my top 3 bits of advice:

    1. Stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel and be fully immersed in Disney magic. I've stayed onsite and offsite and there is no comparison. Staying onsite makes the vacation so much better. Not only because you escape into the Disney bubble, but Guests can also take advantage of exclusive benefits, such as Early Theme Park Entry, complimentary transportation within the Walt Disney World Resort, dining reservation advantages, and more!

    2. Dine at some of the amazing restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort. You can start researching restaurants now! I always try and pick out at least one restaurant to enjoy a special meal. As you do your research, make a note of the ones you'd most like to visit. One of the many benefits of staying on property is the ability to make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance of your trip plus the length of your stay (up to 10 days). Since restaurants fill up quickly, this means that you are far more likely to secure a table. I was recently able to secure hard-to-get dining reservations at California Grill and Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera because I'm staying on property and could therefore make my reservations 60-plus days in advance.

    3. If possible, try and visit each of the four theme parks during your visit. That might mean getting the Park Hopper Option on your tickets or getting a 4-Day Ticket. That way you can experience the wonder of Walt Disney World Resort in each theme park.

I hope that's helpful, Ariel! I appreciate you stopping by. Come and see us again.
