When can I begin making my dining reservations? How far in advance of my reservation. We're staying at a Disneyworld resort.

Hello Heidi, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with an important planning question.

Once you choose your resort, the most import reservations you will make will be your advanced dining reservations. There are so many restaurants to choose from at the Walt Disney World Resort, I always have a hard time narrowing my choices down. You will not need to make reservations for quick service locations, but you can use mobile ordering in the My Disney Experience app if it is available at the desired location.

Anyone can make advanced dining reservations 180 days in advance of your arrival. If you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you can make them for the entire length of your trip, up to 10 days. You can begin to make your reservations very soon, on October 15, 2018, to be exact. You can make your reservations in one of two ways; online starting at 6:00 a.m. or you can call (407) 939-1947 starting at 7:00 a.m. to speak to a Cast Member to make your reservations. Be sure to include all members of your dining party in your count, including your little ones under age 2. There will not be a charge for them, but for seating purposes, Cast Members will need to know the exact number in your party. There are so many dining experiences to choose from, I wish you good luck with your planning. If you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
