If I begin making my dining reservations at 180 days, will they remain intact if free dining is offered later and we take advantage? In essence, will a free dining change, change our whole reservation?

Hello Christen!  Thanks for asking your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I happen to be a big fan of the Disney Dining Plan and it is even better when it is free!

I absolutely encourage you to make your dining reservations now.  Reservations, like you know, open 180 days in advance and the best places fill up quickly.  If you make your dining reservations now and the free dining promotion becomes available it will not effect your dining reservations.  If you call and upgrade to the promotion your vacation package will change but that does not effect your dining reservations.

Have a magical day!  If I can help you with anything else, please let me know.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
