Hi there, Marielle, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy that you're here with this great question about meeting Rapunzel during the Best. Day. Ever! Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect place to meet some of your favorite Disney Characters. From one Princess-loving girl to another, I'm so excited for you!
Marielle, I'm thrilled to tell you that your best chance to spend time with Rapunzel is at Princess Fairytale Hall, located just behind Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park. When you arrive, you'll see two queues: one for
Princess Tiana and a Visiting Princess, and another for Cinderella and a Visiting Princess. Rapunzel is typically the Visiting Princess with Princess Tiana, and you'll be able to double-check this by looking at the signs posted outside the entrance. My daughter and I loved talking to Rapunzel about the flowers in her hair!
Be sure to watch out for Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, and their friends in the
Festival of Fantasy Parade. They also appear in the dazzling new nighttime parade, called
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away. You can check the times for these exciting celebrations on the
Hours and Events Calendar. I recommend heading over to
Storybook Treats and grabbing a Rapunzel Sundae before settling into a spot to view the parade.
You'll even see Rapunzel and Flynn Rider on the stage in front of Cinderella Castle during
Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire. End your day by watching the incredible fireworks spectacular,
Happily Ever After, where you'll see projections and hear tunes from your favorite Disney movies, including Tangled!
Did you know that you can journey to see the floating lights, just like Rapunzel? To take your adventure to new lengths, look no further than the Rapunzel-themed area near "it's a small world." Head over to this area just after sunset for a delightful photo opportunity where you'll pose with a lantern that looks just like one of the floating lights. Visit the restrooms in this area to see even more immersive theming!
All of these experiences are subject to availability and could change, but it sounds like you'll have a few opportunities for thrilling Tangled experiences! While dining with Princesses is something you can do at places like
Cinderella's Royal Table and
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Rapunzel is not typically one of the regular Princesses there.
Marielle, I hope this is helpful to you as you continue to count down to your arrival at the Most Magical Place on Earth! Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have! My Panelist pals and I are here and always happy to help our fellow Guests, just like you!
Go live your dream,
Jennifer
