Hi Mike and welcome to planDisney! Sounds like you may have an upcoming stay at a Walt Disney World Deluxe Resort or Villa in your future. You’ll be happy to know that you’ll be using one of the best benefits of those types of stays, access to Extended Evening Hours! And with a drink in hand, you’re sure to have a good time!
During Extended Evening Hours, the theme parks have select merchandise, food, and beverage locations open for guests to enjoy. Now this list may change from time to time, but I compiled a handy list of locations currently open during extended evening theme park hours (along with my recommendations) for you here:
- La Cantina de San Angel (located in the Mexico pavilion at World Showcase): Here you’ll find a selection of margaritas, sangrias, and Mexican beers for you to enjoy. Pair it with some tacos or nachos for a post-ride treat!
- Les Vins des Chefs de France (located in the France pavilion at World Showcase): As its name implies this kiosk offers a selection of wines, but my favorites here are the slushes. You can often find me walking around World Showcase with a Le Geant Slush in hand.
- Yorkshire County Fish Shop (located in the UK pavilion at World Showcase): This quick service location serves up one of my favorite meals at EPCOT, beer-battered fish and chips! You’ll also find a couple Irish ales here.
- Rose & Crown Pub (located in the UK pavilion at World Showcase): This iconic British-style pub serves up specialty cocktails and whiskey flights. Don’t go crazy with drinks here until after you ride Guardians of the Galaxy - Cosmic Rewind or Test Track!
- Popcorn in Canada (located in the Canada pavilion at World Showcase): This stand offers the famed Maple popcorn, my wife’s popcorn refill of choice. I recommend the Ottawa Apple, a whiskey-based libation with hints of maple (because, of course, Canada) and apple. I grabbed one of these during the final leg of the Walt Disney World marathon last month to celebrate finishing the Dopey Challenge!
As I mentioned earlier, the locations above may be switched out from time to time. I highly suggest using the
My Disney Experience app during your extended evening hours visit to see which locations are open! I’ve also provided a handy
link to a list of attractions that are currently scheduled to be in operation during your visit as well.
