Jambo, Christain! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney today. I'm happy to help with your question and delighted to make the acquaintance of a fellow
Disney Vacation Club Member.
In just a few months you'll be living the Hakuna Matata life at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village! We enjoyed our first stay at Kidani earlier this year (although we have made many a trip to
Sanaa for dinner over the years!) and just loved it. If you have the opportunity to snag a Savanna View Villa, I highly recommend it. We spent some quality time on our balcony watching the animals wander by, and it is a totally unique experience.
Christain, I'm happy to report that the
2-Bedroom Villas at the resort--both dedicated and lock-off--all boast three bathrooms. This will make your park prep a breeze, with plenty of room for everyone in your party to get ready for the day!
As you likely know, the main difference between the two categories of 2-Bedroom Villas is that the lock-off combines a Studio with a 1-Bedroom Villa, so the types of beds vary between the two. The dedicated 2-Bedroom has a king-size bed, 2 queen-size beds, a queen-size sleeper sofa, and a sleeper chair. The lock-off features 1 king-size bed, 1 queen-size bed, 1 double sleeper sofa, 1 queen sleeper sofa, and a sleeper chair.
While you're enjoying the comforts of home at Kidani Village, you're just a short bus ride from
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park with all sorts of fun awaiting you around every turn! Let me share a few of our family's favorite attractions and restaurants to add to your Animal Kingdom itinerary:
- Avatar Flight of Passage is a unique and thrilling attraction in Pandora - The World of Avatar, where you'll experience an amazing 3D journey on the back of a mythical banshee.
- Animal Kingdom hosts my two favorite live shows at Walt Disney World Resort. Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo: The Big Blue...and Beyond! are Broadway-caliber shows that tell these favorite stories in unique new ways. We usually plan to visit during the hottest parts of the day as both theaters are indoors.
- To find some Disney characters, look no further than Tusker House Restaurant! This is a great buffet open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with some really delicious African-inspired menu items. Donald Duck and some other pals greet Guests in their finest safari fashions, and it's a lot of fun!
Well, Christain, I hope this information was just what you needed for a problem-free Disney vacation this October! If you have any other questions that we can help with, please swing on over to planDisney anytime.
Stay Magical!
Susan
