Do the 3 bedroom suites at the grand California hotel have kitchens, fridges or microwaves

    Hiya, David!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with your excellent question. Our family loves Disney's Grand Californian Resort & Spa as you feel immersed in its Craftsman-style architecture reminiscent of a cabin in the California woods. It's simply stunning and its proximity to all of the magic of Disney's California Adventure makes it an ideal choice for any Disneyland vacation.

David, none of the traditional suites - meaning the one, two or three-bedroom suites at Disney's Grand Californian Resort & Spa have kitchens or microwaves. They have a wet bar with a sink and a mini-fridge.  There are a few premium 3-bedroom suites at Disney's Grand Californian Resort that have kitchens which are The Arcadia Three Bedroom Suites, The Arroyo Three Bedroom Suites, and The Mount Whitney Three Bedroom Suite. These are premium suites and to check availability, you would need to call Guest Services.

If you are a Disney Vacation Club Member, however, all of the one, two and three-bedroom Villas at The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Resort & Spa all have full-sized kitchens. You can log into your Disney Vacation Club account or contact Disney Vacation Club Member Services to check availability.

One final tip for you, David. If you would like to have a microwave in your room, we have found that you can request one to your room or suite.  I recommend calling Guest Services and putting a request on your reservation, and if it is not there when you arrive, you can ask the Front Desk to bring one to you.  Please note these are pending availability. Our family requested both a microwave and a full-size drip coffee pot for our Disney Resort Hotel and we used our mini-fridge for our bare necessities, which helped us enjoy light breakfasts and snacks in our room.

I hope this helps you, David! If you have any further Disney vacation planning questions, stop back and see me here and I'll be so happy to help you.

    See ya real soon!
