Are there any 1 bedroom pet-friendly DVC properties? If not what about Walt Disney Resort collection that are 1 bedrooms and pet-friendly?

From one Disney Vacation Club Member to another, let me say, "welcome home," Trista! Or should I say, "woof, woof!"

Trista, just as Jasmine had Rajah, Miguel had Dante, Rapunzel had Pascal, Kristoff had Sven and Moana had Hei Hei, Disney knows animal sidekicks are an important part of YOUR story so I'm happy to chat about this very important question!

Currently there are no Disney Vacation Club Resorts that allow your K-9 best friend to tag along, but I'm happy to report that a few other Disney Resort Hotels do offer this option. If the pet you're hoping to bring is a dog (or two), you can check-in with your furry friend at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Disney's Yacht Club Resort. Before grabbing your leash and hitting the road, make sure to take a look at the limitations and additional fees.

Now, Trista, a few years back my kids convinced us to bring a bearded dragon into our family and while he is friendly, he would not be permitted to stay in our hotel room. If you have a pet other than a dog that you're hoping to bring to the Most Magical Place on Earth, you might want to consider Best Friends Pet Care. This animal retreat on Walt Disney World Resort property houses not only dogs, but cats and "pocket pets" like lizards, birds and rodents.

Trista, I hope this helps as you're building your upcoming vacation. Regardless of where you stay, I hope it's as cozy as Pluto's bed in Mickey Mouse's clubhouse! Please come on back and see us here at planDisney with any other questions you might have. Like Dumbo, we are all... EARS.
