Where are the 3 bedroom grand villa locations in Jambo House that are closest to the lobby?

    Jambo, Valerie!

I'm so thrilled to answer your question live from Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Jambo House. My family just checked in this afternoon, and we are already having a great time exploring the resort and saying hello to all the animals. As I type, I can see a few different species walking past our Savanna View room. It's such a peaceful place to call home for a few days!

Since I was already on-site, I decided to take a little field trip around the resort to get you the most accurate information. I started at the check-in desk, where Allie from Texas A&M University was kind enough to circle all six of the 3 Bedroom Grand Villas on the resort map for me. If you have one handy or do a quick image search online, you'll notice three of these rooms at the ends of the vertical sections along both sides of the horseshoe-shaped footprint. Look for the three circles at the end of each section, which represent the beautiful balconies where you can enjoy those gorgeous savanna views.

With a fresh map in hand and an active timer on my phone, I set off to find the closest 3 Bedroom Grand Villas to the lobby. The first was room 5483 on the Zebra Trail side, which overlooks the Uzima Savanna. The walk there was approximately 3-minutes from the lobby (with elevator ride up to the 5th floor included). I continued along the path to room 5564 and then finished at the end of the Zerba Trail at room 5593. I timed my return walk from there, which took about 4 minutes if you tack on the elevator ride back down to the main lobby.

If you end up on the Kudu Trail side, room 5284 is closest to the lobby and overlooks the Sunset Savanna. Next are rooms 5563 and 5394 at the very end of the hallway. Our room is just a few doors away from 5394, and though the journey felt slightly more strenuous while carrying some of our luggage, the distance hasn't stopped us from heading up, down, and all around the resort multiple times today already. When the promise of Zebra Domes awaits at The Mara, the walk is well worth the effort.

All six of the 3 Bedroom Grand Villas are located on the 5th floor of Jambo House and will welcome you with beautiful double doors. These spacious villas can accommodate up to 12 adults and feature 4 full bathrooms, a full kitchen, living and dining areas, as well as a washer and dryer. During your stay, plan to enjoy a dip in Uzima Springs Pool, relax with a cocktail at Victoria Falls Lounge, or enjoy a delicious meal at the Table Service restaurants on property. My family is about to freshen up for dinner at Jiko - The Cooking Place later this evening, so I'll bid you a farewell or a "Kwaheri," as they say in Swahili.

Please come back to planDisney again with any additional questions. We're always ready to lend a hand or walk the path to get guests the answers they need.

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
