Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Stacey! We're so happy you stopped by! It looks like your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just about to begin. How exciting!
You and your travel party are sure to love your stay
Disney's Beach Club Villas. What I most love about this Disney Resort hotel is its proximity to
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios. Talk about convenience! As a mom of three, I totally understand wanting a little one to sleep in a bedroom instead of in the shared living room area. Unfortunately, Guests may not request a small cot or rollaway bed for their stay at Disney's Beach Club Villas due to Florida safety and fire code restrictions in relation to room size and layout. For the same reason, Guests are not permitted to bring their own additional bedding, like an air mattress or sleeping bag. If your two families plan on using the shared living room area after you hope to have that kiddo tucked in bed, I suggest placing them in the king bed to fall asleep, then gently moving them to the sleeper sofa after everyone has turned in for the night. Hopefully, that little Mouseketeer won't wake, and you'll all get a peaceful, pixie-dusted night's sleep!
Speaking of a good night's sleep, I always pack a sound machine in my suitcase for my family's Disney vacations. I find that the white noise helps to buffer any sounds inside the room (like someone snoring!)
and outside the room. Our theme park adventures require a lot of energy, so I want to be sure everyone sleeps as soundly as possible!
I hope this was helpful, Stacey. If you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, please let us know! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
