What bedding is used at the Grand Floridian? I saw the Sobel set but it doesn’t seem to be the same. I stayed at the Floridian yesterday and loved the sheets.

Hey there, Christina! Welcome to planDisney!

I’m glad you had a restful stay and enjoyed the linens at the Grand Floridian Resort so much! I always sleep so well when I visit Walt Disney World, and I’m sure it's partially because of the comfortable beds and linens. It’s also because my family wakes up early for rope drop and stays up late to see the fireworks. And we walk about 10 miles in the parks. And go swimming each day. Whatever the reason, it’s easy to get a good night's sleep at Walt Disney World!

I have it on good authority (other planDisney panelists) that the Grand Floridian uses Sobel Westex Bella Casa sheets across the resort. The blankets are Sobel Westex Sobellux (#71273), the pillows are Sobel Westex Sahara Nights, and in case you’re looking to recreate the whole Grand Floridian experience, the mattresses are from the Simmons Beautyrest Hospitality Collection. You can find many of these items online, as well as a whole Disney Resorts Home Collection from Sobel Westex.

Since you just visited Walt Disney World (or maybe you’re there right now!), be sure to take advantage of the Future Stay Offer (also known as a Bounce Back Offer). If you book your next Walt Disney World vacation within 7 days of your check-out date, you can get up to 35% off rooms at deluxe or deluxe villa resorts, up to 30% off rooms at moderate resorts, or up to 25% off rooms at value resorts. You can modify or cancel your reservation without penalty up to 30 days before your arrival, so it’s a great deal to check out.

I hope this information helps you bring a little bit of that Disney magic back home with you. If you have any other resort questions or need recommendations as you plan your next Disney vacation, pop right back to planDisney. We’re always happy to help!

    Magical travels!
