Are there bed rails available at the resorts? We are staying at All Star Movies in November this year. Is there an extra charge?

    Hi Libby,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to send us your question.  Traveling with little ones can be stressful, but Walt Disney World Resort makes it easy for families to relax and enjoy making memories with the entire family.

Bed rails are complimentary, however they are available on a first come first serve basis. When you arrive, simply call the front desk from your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Room to request your bed rails.  A Cast Member will bring the bed rails to your room as soon as possible. If you are like me and tend to worry about things, I would recommend calling the resort prior to your arrival and have a Cast Member make a note on your reservation indicating that you would like bed rails for your stay.  This way you know that you have made the request and you will be able to put your mind at ease.  To reach Disney's All Star Movies Resort and speak with a Cast Member, please call (407) 939-7000.  We have experienced mixed results, a few times the bed rails were already set up for us, and other times a Cast Member came to set them up after we called and asked, however we have always received bed rails when we needed them.

Since you are traveling with little ones, I would highly recommend visiting Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  The theming and details are incredible and there is so much for little ones and grownups alike to see and do.  My daughter and I enjoy looking for all of the small details that tie into the movies, we spend hours just looking around!

I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort, Libby.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.

    ~Stephanie
