Hi! I've become vegetarian since the last time my sailed on Disney Cruise Line, and I was wondering how many vegetarian options there usually were for meals on board the ship? On other cruise lines have had limited options, or repeated meal options

    Welcome to planDisney, Paxton!

Thank you for bringing your important dietary question to planDisney. You’ll be pleased to hear that Disney Cruise Line menus offer vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, no-sugar-added, and lighter-note offerings. In preparation for your sailing, please sign in to your Disney Cruise Line account and access the Special Requests application located in the My Reservations link beneath the Already Booked tab dropdown. Please submit the Special Requests application as soon as you can, but no less than 3-days before your sail date.

    Email: SpecialServices@disneycruise.com
Mail: P.S. Box 10210, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830-0210.

Once onboard, please stop by Disney Cruise Line's - Guest Services Desk to inquire about the time and location of the Onboard Dining Session to learn more about dining options and to receive further assistance.

Paxton, when visiting the quick-service locations, ask the Cast Members about vegetarian options if you do not see any designated signs at the food booths, but they're really good at displaying detailed descriptions of food. At dinner on your first dining rotation table-service venue feel free to speak with your serving team about any special requests. On the dining room menus, please look for a designated vegan starter and a designated vegetarian section. The dining team does their best to accommodate all Guests, and quite often we enjoyed meals that were enhanced to meet our needs and presented with meals that had foods, not on the printed menu. For example, at breakfast, I enjoyed my avocado toast with a drizzle of olive oil a few times. We also were able to discuss the menu for the next day with our serving team and what could be done to prepare our meals, especially the night before our visit to Disney Castaway Cay.

As a family with members requiring special dietary menus, we have never been disappointed with the meticulous attention to our needs, our meal preparation and the variety of choices presented to us during our cruises. The key to delectable vegan dining options during your sailing is to communicate your needs before and during your sailing and you won't be disappointed, Paxton.

    Tips:
Download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to manage your plans before and during your sailing with such helpful features as looking up dining menus, communicating with fellow cruise mates, referring to daily activities, and during your cruise booking a future sailing with the Disney Cruise Line Onboard-Only Offer.

Paxton, I hope this information gets you off to a good start, it was my pleasure assisting you today, please stop by planDisney for any other planning questions, thank you!

    See Ya Real Soon!
