    How do you become Family of the Night at Chef Mickey's?


    Hello, Jeffrey!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My family has had the opportunity to be the Family of the Day at Chef Mickey's several times over the years. In my experience, Cast Members at the check-in podium have randomly selected a family to help Mickey Mouse open the restaurant for dinner. Each time we have been chosen it has been a little different. One time I was asked upon check-in while another instance a Cast Member randomly asked my husband and son. Our most recent time being selected was because we arrived early for our dinner reservation, so we had a chance to talk to a few Cast Members before the restaurant opened. My son asked if Mickey Mouse needed help and one of the Cast Members took him up on his offer. It is truly a surprise and delight experience, and hope you and your family get the chance during your next visit! Please visit us again with other questions you may have.
