If I become a DVC member, could I receive a discount on my IncrediPass renewal?

    Welcome to planDisney, Jill!

Thanks so much for dropping by with a question today.  How exciting that you're considering a Disney Vacation Club Membership!  I can tell you, without hesitation, that Membership has been one of the best decisions our family has ever made.  Whether we're popping down to the Sunshine State for a quick weekend getaway or setting up shop in a 3-Bedroom Grand Villa for a big family celebration, there are so many ways to use our Vacation Points to create magical Disney vacations year after year.  But the magic of Membership doesn't end with world-class accommodations at Disney Destinations around the world –– eligible Members can also sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on each and every visit with Membership Extras.  Let me share a few details about these exciting Member Benefits, including the special Walt Disney World Annual Pass tier that's available for Members.

From dining and shopping discounts to Member-exclusive events and experiences, and even special pricing for events, there are tons of extras available to Disney Vacation Club Members.  When Walt Disney World announced its newly-reimagined Annual Passholder Program in Fall 2021, these Member Benefits also included a special Annual Pass tier for Members –– the Disney Sorcerer Pass. While sales of most new passes are paused at this, if you currently have a Disney IncrediPass, you'll be able to choose any Annual Pass category that you qualify for when it's time to renew your pass.  This means that if you're an eligible DVC Member at the time of renewal, you'll have the option to change from the Disney IncrediPass to the Disney Sorcerer Pass if that works best for you.  However, keep in mind that in order to access these Member Benefits, your Membership must be eligible for Membership Extras –– currently, this means that you've purchased a minimum Ownership Interest of 150 Vacation Points directly from Disney Vacation Development Inc. (otherwise known as Disney Vacation Club).

I hope this helped to answer your question, Jill, and I really appreciate you visiting planDisney.  If you need more information about the magic of Disney Vacation Club Membership or think of new questions as you plan your next Disney vacation, please don't hesitate to visit us again –– we're always here to lend a helping hand!

    Happy Planning,
