There's only one way to become a Platinum Castaway member: Take lots of cruises! Disney Cruise Line guests become members of the
Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club after their first cruise. From 2-5 cruises, you are considered Silver. 6-10 cruises you are Gold. After completing your 10th cruise, you will officially be Platinum on your 11th sailing!
The higher the status, the sooner guests have access to book new itineraries. This is a great benefit, especially with the
Summer 2023 itineraries that have been released. Also with a higher status, guests can pay off and book their
port adventures. This is helpful for those hard to book options, such as getting a Cabana on
Castaway Cay!
My favorite perk of being Platinum is the one complimentary dinner each sailing at
Palo. It is such a treat to experience the amazing food and service for free (however I always add gratuity for my service team!)
