We would like to become an annual disney passholder (Hopefully a FL resident in 2027). Do we pay a family rate or individual rates? We are a family of 3 with one being a college student.

    Hey there, Tammy!

I hope you’re having a wonderful day, and welcome back to planDisney! There’s something so magical about planning your next Walt Disney World Resort adventure. Personally, I can't wait for that moment when I'm strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. with a Mickey bar in hand.

I see you may soon become a Florida resident. How exciting! My family and I are new Floridians, and as soon as we closed on our house, the very first thing we did was purchase our Walt Disney World Annual Passes. That moment truly made it all feel real! There's nothing quite like being within driving distance of The Most Magical Place on Earth.

One of the best perks of being a Florida resident and an Annual Passholder is the option for monthly payments. I like to split mine across different pay periods. My oldest son and I purchased our passes at the beginning of the month, and my husband and youngest purchased theirs in the middle. This way, it doesn't feel like such a big expense all at once. While there's no official family plan, this method makes it much more manageable. Also, please keep in mind that if you have any questions or concerns, you can call Passholder Payment Services.

I'm so excited you're considering becoming an Annual Passholder. The perks are truly fantastic and have been big money savers for us! I highly recommend checking out the special offers for Annual Passholders. My personal favorites are discounts on Walt Disney World Resort hotels, free parking at the theme parks, and last but not least, discounts on select dining and merchandise. And who doesn’t love snagging a collectible magnet or two? There are so many wonderful benefits to being an Annual Passholder, it’s practically perfect in every way!

Tammy, I hope this information helps and that we get to welcome you to the Annual Passholder family soon. It's been such an amazing addition for my family, and I know it will be for yours as well. Please come back anytime. I'd love to help with any future plans!

    Your personal planning companion,
    Michelle
