My beautiful wife and I will be taking our 2 kids (ages 3 and 2) on their first trip to Disneyworld this April. This is our very first time staying at a WDW resort. In your experience, what is the absolute BEST stroller to take on this trip?

Hi Gregory, How exciting to be planning your first Disney World vacation!

We made the investment in a Maclaren Twin Triumph side-by-side stroller several years ago for our WDW vacations. This wonderful stroller is umbrella style, so it folds up nicely on the buses. There is a basket underneath, a sun-shade, and pockets in back. While they are pricey, they are incredibly sturdy, and hold up to 60 pounds on each side! For us, that means years of Disney trips. The Maclaren reclines nicely for when the kids are tired. In addition, it fits easily through any standard sized doorway.

We factored in what it would cost to rent a double stroller at Disney for week, and it ended up being about the same price...but we get to use it many more times.

Hope this helps and please let us know if we can answer with any other questions you may have.

    Happy planning!
