Hi Beatrice we are planning to book for the candelight processional and wondered what time it starts to get dark in Florida in late December and how long we should book our dinner before the show starts. Wish I lived in Florida that would rock. thanx

Hi Mandy.   Yes, living in Florida does have its privileges.  My family and I just love it here, especially given that we are close enough to drive to Disney.

As to your question, I checked Sunset times for December and as I recalled, it actually gets dark relatively early.   Sunsets throughout December 2008 range between 5:28 and 5:39PM (I found a neat website that provides sunrise / sunset times!).    The good news is that you have some flexibility as the Candlelight Processional  is planned for three times each night (5:00, 6:45 and 8:15).    This is a really nice event and as I recall was well attended.  I do suggest that you plan your dinners so that you arrive at least 30 minutes before these show times or alternatively attend the 5:00 show and plan for dinner afterwards.   Hope this helps!
