Hi Beatrice! My family consisting of my dad, stepmom, 2 DS (8 & 6), DH, sister and me will be visiting WDW for the first time. We would like to experience a variety of dining options on the DDP. Which character and signature meals do you recommend?

Hi Priscilla.   Wow, that's a tough question.  There are so many great meals to choose from.    Here are a few of my favorites that you may want to consider for use with your Disney Dining Plan.    If you are looking for a character breakfast that contains many of the Disney favorites (Mickey, Minnie, Goof, etc), Chef Mickey's is an excellent choice.  Chef Mickey's is conveniently located at the Contemporary Resort located near to Magic Kingdom.    Its buffet style, we particularly enjoy going for breakfast and then heading off to Magic Kingdom afterwards.    Another fine character meal, while having fewer characters but really great food is the Garden Grill located in the Land at Epcot.   This food is served family style and is just excellent.

Now as for other meals and dinner shows, I strongly recommend the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Review located at Disney's Fort Wilderness.   My family and I just visited this for the first time last week based upon the great reviews given by our other moms panelists.   It was a really terrific show, good food and just an overall blast.   Hope this gives you some ideas to consider!
