What is the beat way to do 2 days?

    Welcome to planDisney Beth!

I am a big fan of a weekend visit to Walt Disney World, so my family and I have mastered the art of a 2-day trip to visit the House of Mouse. You will be surprised how much you can squeeze in!

Start with purchasing a 2-day Theme Park Ticket with the Park Hopper option. If your budget allows, add on Genie+ to shorten your time in line. Here is my proposed itinerary for you:

Day 1: Start at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Get there as early as possible. Hang in the parks until about noon. Head back to your resort, take a break, grab lunch. Any time after 2pm, you can Park Hop over to EPCOT. Spend a wonderful afternoon, book a Dining Reservation for a fun restaurant like Via Napoli, and end your day viewing Harmonious on World Showcase Lagoon.

Day 2: Up EARLY for Disney's Animal Kingdom. I suggest an early lunch here at Satu'li Canteen as it is one of my favorites (Quick Service, no reservations needed). Go back to your resort around noon and enjoy some pool time for an hour or two, then over to the Magic Kingdom. The nighttime spectacular is Disney Enchantment and should not be missed!

The key to all this is knowing park hours and being there as early as possible. Early morning and late evening are when crowds are the lowest and temperatures are better, so take advantage! An afternoon break is also important, as you will be too tired to enjoy it all if you try to go full speed for 12+ hours. Remember, this is a vacation!

If you need more help as you plan for your 2 days, stop by again! We are happy to help!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
