Are Beast and Cinderella doing autographs and posing with guests now at Be Our Guest and Cinderella’s Royal Table now that distancing was removed? Also, is there anywhere to meet/get autograph of any of the Pooh characters? They are my son’s favorite!!!

Hello, hello there, Amanda! Welcome to planDisney!

After Be Our Guest Restaurant and Cinderella's Royal Table reopened its doors back in July 2020, Beast and Cinderella made sure to stay safe by casually strolling through their castles and greeting their Guests from afar. The last time I paid our friends a visit was back in December 2021, and they were still promenading around both restaurants like they had been doing for over a year. That being said, the Disney Parks Blog team recently announced the triumphant return of normal meet & greets, hugs, and autographs, so I decided to go on a very important quest in order to get you an answer.

Amanda, I spoke to a friendly Cast Member earlier today, and he let me know that Beast is still taking his usual leisurely strolls through the three dining rooms at Be Our Guest Restaurant, and that he may or may not make appearances at this time. Unfortunately, this means that he isn't quite ready to start meeting Guests in his library for photos and autographs yet, but you may very well catch a glimpse of him, so keep your eyes peeled! Now, as far as Cinderella goes, she has been quite busy with her royal tasks lately. In fact, the Cinderella's Royal Table webpage states that Character Dining is still not available at this location, but I have good news for you! If you are set on meeting Her Royal Highness, she is currently posing for pictures and signing autographs at Princess Fairytale Hall with Elena, Rapunzel, and Princess Tiana. I'm sure they'll all be delighted to make your acquaintance!

Finally, if you and your son are rumbly in your tumblies and you'd like to get some tips on "Hunny" hunting from Pooh, I can teach you how to spot him in a jiffy! All you need to do is open the My Disney Experience mobile app, click on the pin icon at the bottom of the screen, click on the arrow at the top of the screen, and select the Characters option. Now, simply click on Show List at the top right corner of the screen and scroll down until you see Winnie the Pooh and click on his name. Here, you'll be able to see exactly where and when he'll be making his next appearance so you can talk to him about your favorite adventures!

Amanda, please keep in mind that things are constantly changing right now, so I highly encourage you to keep checking back on the Disney Parks Blog, the Walt Disney World Resort website, and the My Disney Experience mobile app before your trip. Even though the information I gathered for you is current and valid today, it could very much change in a matter of weeks or even days! On that note, please don't hesitate to come back and ask us your most pressing questions about planning your magical vacation. We're always happy to help!

    Have courage and be kind,
