Hello, is the Beast character currently at BOG (even if it’s from a far that’s ok :)) for dinner only or both lunch and dinner now? Thanks!

    Bonjour, Diane!

I'm happy you've decided to put our service to the test here at planDisney with your question about Be Our Guest Restaurant! Tie your napkin 'round your neck, and I'll provide the answer!

Dining at the Beast's enchanted castle is an experience like no other at Magic Kingdom Park. You'll feel as though you stepped right into the classic Disney animated film, Beauty and the Beast! Guests are seated in one of three areas: the Grand Ballroom, which features a gorgeous chandelier and a view of a winter's snow falling outside the windows; the Rose Gallery, with paintings, tapestries and a twirling Belle and Beast atop a giant music box; and the West Wing, where you can catch a glimpse of falling petals from the Beast's enchanted rose. Pro tip: Make sure to take a good look at the cherub angels painted on the ceiling in the ballroom. The faces of the angels are either modeled after Disney Imagineers' babies, the Imagineers themselves as babies, and you might just see a few that have adult Imagineer faces on tiny baby bodies. See if you can spot them - it's fun to see!

On our last visit to Walt Disney World Resort, my daughter had only one request - that we dine at Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom Park. We had dined there previously, but not since the debut of their new prix fixe, 3-course French-cuisine-inspired menu. I was excited to give it a try! With the new menu, Guests will choose an Appetizer and Entree from the menu, then each Guest will enjoy a Dessert Trio, featuring a white chocolate "Chip" cup, filled with "the grey stuff". (Try it, it's delicious - don't believe me, ask the dishes!) I recommend either the French Onion Soup or the Lobster Bisque as an appetizer, and you just can't go wrong with the Center-cut Filet Mignon as an entree -so delicious! During our meal, the Master of the Castle (Beast) made a grand entrance and walked among the Guests with a regal wave to each table. While there are no posed photos with Beast at this time, you can expect to see him make appearances during Lunch hours as well as Dinner seatings.

Now, I invite you to relax, pull up a chair, as the dining room proudly presents...your dinner. I hope you enjoy dining at Be Our Guest on your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
