Bonjour! Good Day! How is your family, Trevor?
When wandering around Disneyland Park, it’s easy to get swept up in the magic, just like Belle did when she first arrived at the castle! There’s something sweet and almost kind about searching for characters from my favorite film,
Beauty and the Beast. I know the Disneyland Resort may be new and a bit alarming to you, but isn’t that what makes it so exciting!
Sadly Trevor, the Beast hasn’t been spotted at Disneyland Park for a while. The last time I saw him was in
Fantasyland back in 2017 to celebrate the release of
his live-action film. He was visiting from his year-round
home at the Florida resort, so seeing him so close to Hollywood was definitely like seeing
something there that wasn’t there that wasn't there before!
On a brighter note, Princess Belle is often seen wandering the resort with her nose stuck in a book. I saw her last week outside of the
Royal Hall in her blue peasant loveliness! She also can sometimes be found inside the Royal Hall in her beautiful golden gown. And I absolutely love dining with her at the
Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures in the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
But before I go, Trevor, let me share a magic mirror to help with your visit.
The Disneyland Mobile App is great for finding character visits, just like the magic mirror shows Belle the outside world!
Just open the app, select the location icon at the bottom left of your screen, and you’ll see a map of the resort. Tap on “Attractions” at the top, and you’ll get a drop-down menu. Choose “Characters,” and voilà! You’ll see icons pop up showing where each character is. I like to click “Show List” in the upper right corner—it makes it easy to spot which characters are around, where they’re hanging out, and what time they’ll be there!
I’m sorry I couldn’t
show you the Beast, Trevor. Life can be so unnerving for a servant who’s not serving. But if you think of any more questions about how to plan your visit to The Happiest Place On Earth next week, I hope you’ll Be Our Guest and
come back again.
I'll be bubblin', I'll be brewin',
