Does the Beaches and Cream Restaurant offer lactaid free icecream?

    Hello Pat,

Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney's Beach Club Resort happens to be one of my all-time favorite dining locations. We often leave Epcot in the mid-afternoon and walk over to the resort from the International Gateway near the United Kingdom pavilion for a snack. My kids adore this place. The nostalgic atmosphere and classic diner favorites make it a must-do experience for anyone, even those with food allergies. I'm pleased to help you with some great news based on my personal experience a few years ago.

I was traveling with a friend that cannot have dairy, but really wanted to try this popular restaurant. The server was happy to call the chef over and was offered "Rice Dream" as an alternative offering to the regular ice cream. I am not able to recall what flavors were offered or if it was just vanilla, but she was able to get a number of toppings. When you visit, be sure to let the cast members know of your allergies and they will make sure you are taken care of. Again, this was our experience a few years ago, so there could be the same offerings or other alternatives. So, please keep this in mind.

    Bon Appetit
