Going to Beaches and Cream on a nonpark day in Dec 2021. What is there to do at the BoardWalk that's open so we can do some other things while we're in the area?

    Hi Erin,

Welcome to planDisney! I am delighted to hEAR that you are planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

I love that you are considering a non-park day at Disney's BoardWalk. Since it sounds like you have some time, I suggest heading over to Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf to play a round of mini-golf. When we last stayed at Disney's BoardWalk Inn, we walked over. So, you can walk from Beaches & Cream Soda Shop unless you have anyone in your party who has difficulty walking. My girls and I had the best time!

Of course, depending on store hours during your visit, you could also take a stroll through Wyland Galleries near Disney's BoardWalk Inn. We love admiring the stunning art collection. Afterwards, you could honestly just find a bench and enjoy the view. We love to just soak in the sights and sounds. You will also be close to the Disney Skyliner station at the International Gateway at EPCOT. Hop on and go for a delightful ride.

Of course, check the resort activities at your own resort hotel. There might be a few activities that you would enjoy there as well. We always check the activity information at our resort hotel as soon as we arrive because some activities are only offered once or twice a week.

Erin, I trust that your non-park day will be low-key magical. We love those days where we can take a break and enjoy our time together. Life is short. Take your time and soak up the joy!

    Magic and memories,
    Donyell
