Does Beaches and Cream, still do the Mickey Kitchen sink? It isn’t on the menu. Thank you.

Hi there, Sara! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so happy that you've stopped by with your oh-so-fun holiday planning question!

In just a couple of months, you will be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth, ready to begin your magical adventure! How exciting! So, let's just be honest - half of the fun of a Walt Disney World Resort holiday is the FOOD, and for me, no meal is complete without dessert. No restaurant on earth does dessert quite like Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, and the Kitchen Sink is, without a doubt, the shining star of the show. My little family of three love to stuff ourselves silly with the Kitchen Sink or a Mini Mickey Sink every time we go to Beaches & Cream, so, I am thrilled to answer your question today.

I think you will be happy to hear that the Mini Mickey Sink (in either Mickey pants or a Minnie skirt) is on the menu at the Beaches & Cream To-Go window right outside of the restaurant's entrance. If you plan on dining at Beaches & Cream, ask your server if you can order it from your table, and if not, just place your to-go order on your way out and enjoy your dessert at one of the outdoor tables or on the Resort's beautiful beach. While we are talking Kitchen Sinks, the original is definitely still on the menu (and on my must-have list) at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop! The Kitchen Sink serves four and is available in the traditional flavors, Chocolate Lovers or Neapolitan. Although I am always tempted to order the Chocolate Lovers Kitchen Sink, my family and I always get the traditional Sink, because we just love the toppings so much. My perfect bite is chocolate ice cream, peanut butter sauce, pineapple, Snickers pieces, and fluffy cream. YUM! Whether you order the Kitchen Sink or the Mini Mickey Sink, get those spoons ready, Sara!

While you are enjoying this adorable retro soda fountain, I must recommend the Beaches & Cream Grilled Cheese with tomato soup with an extra side of the AMAZING onion rings. It is so delicious and the ultimate comfort food. Just be sure to save room for ... well, you already know!

Sara, if I have your arrival date correct, your dining reservation booking window opens in a few days, on March 26, 2022. Unless you just plan on picking up a Mini Mickey Sink at the Beaches & Cream To-Go window, be sure to make a reservation for Beaches & Cream Soda Shop and all of your other fantastic must-do dining experiences! I will be at Walt Disney World Resort at the same time as you, and I hope to see you there! Meet you at Beaches & Cream! Is it May yet?!

Sara, I hope you have the sweetest upcoming holiday, full of treats and magic! Please stop by any time with any holiday planning questions. You've got a friend in me!

I hope to see ya soon,

    Mandy
