Hi Lisandra,
Welcome to planDisney! If you haven’t been to
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club, I recommend adding it to your itinerary!
The
Beaches & Cream menu currently posted on the Walt Disney World website lists the Kitchen Sink as one of the sundae options available. On a recent visit with a group of friends, we ordered the Kitchen Sink, and it was served in an actual metal sink. There were five of us dining together, and we couldn’t quite conquer the sundae, but we had fun trying. I have seen a few people share about people ordering a smaller version of this sundae served in a Mickey or Minnie-themed dish, however, this seems to be an off-menu option. If you have a reservation booked, you could ask if they have it while you’re there. If you want to order a sundae, but not the Kitchen Sink, I highly recommend the No Way José. This peanut butter and hot fudge sundae was delicious, and large enough to share, in my opinion.
If you want to make sure your sundae is served in a Mickey dish,
Boardwalk Ice Cream currently has a
Mickey Kitchen Sink Sundae on the menu. This sundae features hand-scooped ice cream with what sounds like every topping available! Hot fudge, caramel, marshmallow topping, an ice cream cookie sandwich with sprinkles, fluffy cream, chocolate curls, and a cherry all atop vanilla and chocolate ice cream in a souvenir Mickey Kitchen Sink. Since I’ve already shared my love of peanut butter and chocolate, I’m sure it’s no surprise that I have ordered the Thundering Surf Peanut Butter and Chocolate Sundae from BoardWalk Ice Cream. I loved finding a seat on
Disney’s BoardWalk and looking out across Crescent Lake as I enjoyed my ice cream treat!
In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with any sundae option you choose, Lisandra. I think ice cream always tastes better when I’m in Disney World. If you have any more questions as you plan for vacation, especially ones about tasty treats, please
come back and see me again at planDisney!
