Is the Beach Club Resort worth the price? We love the area where the Beach Club is located, and are intrigued by the amenities. But it's 3 times the rate of the Value Resorts. Considering we spend most of our vacations in the parks, is it worth it?

    Hi, Corrina!

If you are an "on the go" type of family, I would pass on the Beach Club.  There are many advantages of the Beach Club:  an amazing pool, close proximity to Epcot, and some great restaurants, but it is  pricey!  If your room is going to be used to sleep, shower, and head out to the magic, then stick with a Value Resort.  (Pop Century is my favorite!)  However, if you like long afternoon swims in the pool, lazy days on the beach, and upscale dining, you may want to splurge for the Beach Club.

"Is it worth it" is going to be a personal decision, so weigh the pros and cons.   Good luck deciding!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
