How can I get from the Beach Club to the Port Orleans Riverside hotel?

    Hello Darcy,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Disney's Beach Club Resort is one of my favorite hotels in Walt Disney World. The location is ideal as you are just steps away from EPCOT and a walk or boat ride away from Disney's Hollywood Studios. You can easily stroll Disney's BoardWalk, and the pool area is like a mini water park.

Hopping to other resorts for dining or entertainment is a great way to spend an afternoon or evening outside of the parks. Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is home to River Roost Lounge where Yehaa Bob entertains guests with music and comedy, plus the grounds of this resort are stunning. To get there from Disney's Beach Club I recommend heading to Disney's Hollywood Studios and then taking a bus to the resort.

If you want a direct route and your vacation is after June 29, you could also use Disney's Minnie Van Service. There is a charge, but the driver will take you directly from one resort to the other, which is really convenient especially on your way back if it's late at night when you're tired and want to get back to your resort quickly.

While you're at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside, you may want to pop over to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter for some Mickey beignets at Scat Cat's Club.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
